The Longhorn Open takes place on the University of Texas campus, at Gregory Gym and the Rec Center, every January. In 2016, it took 6 days to sell out the Longhorn Open at 336 players, two and a half months in advance of the event. In 2017, it took less than 65 minutes to sell out, at 354 players, again two and a half months in advance of the event.
