Only one upset in the Round of 32 at the World Racquetball Tour (WRT) 2017 Rocky Mountain Open in Taylorsville, Utah, as 26th seed Robert Collins narrowly defeated 7th seed Mauricio Zelada, 15-13, 15-11, 11-10 [sic]. Collins will play Erik Garcia in the Round of 16, as Garcia defeated Devan Van Valkenburg, 15-5, 15-1.

Also of note, Sudsy Monchik won his first WRT match, beating Steve Black, 15-4, 15-2, to set up a showdown with 6th seed Jose Diaz, who was a straight game winner over Andrew Clarke, 15-8, 15-2.

The Round of 16 begins Friday morning. The quarterfinals will be Friday from 4 PM. The semi-finals are Saturday at 11 AM and noon, and the final Saturday at 5 PM. You should be able to watch the action live Friday and Saturday via the WRT website.
