National Police Racquetball Association – Blue Santa Tournament

On the evening of November 5th, Harris County Constable Officer Justin Gay responded to a domestic disturbance call. When interviewing the suspect, the interview turned into a physical altercation resulting with the suspect shooting Officer Gay. Officer Gay was shot a total of 7 times in both legs and was life flighted from the scene. The suspect was eventually captured and remains in jail. Officer Gay has returned to his home from the hospital and is currently going through rehabilitation and expects to return to work in June ‘18.

NPRA was proud to present Officer Gay with a check to help with medical costs. These funds were made possible from players who participated in NPRA’s recent Blue Santa Tournament held on Dec 10th. Thanks to all who played and we all wish and pray for a speedy recovery for Officer Gay.
