Sebastian Franco and veteran Sudsy Monchik had upset wins Friday in the Round of 16 at the World Racquetball Tour (WRT) 2017 Rocky Mountain Open in Taylorsville, Utah. Franco knocked off 4th seed Gerardo Franco (no relation), 15-5, 15-3, and Monchik beat 6th seed Jose Diaz in a tie-breaker, 11-15, 15-12, 11-3. The wins set up quarterfinal matches between Franco and 5th seed Jaime Martell and between Monchik and 3rd seed Jake Bredenbeck.

The quarterfinals will be Friday from 4 PM on. The semi-finals are Saturday at 11 AM and noon, and the final Saturday at 5 PM. You should be able to watch the action live Friday and Saturday via the WRT website.
