Make Your Plans! World Wide Racquetball Day is September 7, 2024

Worldwide Racquetball Day – Saturday, September 7th

The second annual Worldwide Racquetball Day is set for September 7, 2024!

Last year, the inaugural Worldwide Racquetball Day, September 9, 2023, had over 35 events in 12 countries – Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Guatemala, Germany, Ireland, Japan, Korea, and the US.

This year, our goal is to have over 50+ events around the United States, Latin America, Europe and Asia, all on the same day. And we are asking you, as a tournament director and state leader, to help us put as many one-day shootouts on the map as possible!

All you have to do is host a one-day shootout on September 7th, 2024. It can be any format you want – indoor/outdoor, singles/doubles, king and queen of the court, or any combination you’d like.

USA Racquetball will waive the sanctioning fee for your event, so there is no set up cost to you. We can set up your R2Sports page for you if you’d like. We will also provide materials to help you promote your event once you sanction it, and we will be promoting Worldwide Racquetball Day all summer on social media. We will create a world map with all the tournaments and encourage everyone to stream videos on social media from your tournament, so the internet is buzzing with racquetball! We also want to see who can get the most new players to play in your events!

Help us showcase the sport we all love so much and create a feeling of worldwide unity of all of the players in our sport. We’d love to get several shootouts set up in as many states as possible.

Please email us (Cindy Tilbury, Jonathan Greenberg, or Karen Grisz) with any questions.

Jonathan can set up the tournament website for you. Email him with the tournament director and facility information to get started; or just create the event as you would any other tournament to get sanctioned the usual way.
