Dan Pansch turned 65 about three weeks ago. Needless to say, he saw it coming.
The semi-retired former Brandon Valley middle-school principal knew this landmark birthday would coincide with an opportunity to be classified as a rookie in the 65-and-over ‘A’ division of the U.S. Open Racquetball Championships held in the Twin Cities this past weekend.
In anticipation of what he would have to expect would be his best chance ever to take a national title, he’d been putting in the time, as they say. Workouts five, six or seven times a week, weightlifting and lots of racquetball.[Read more]
