The Ladies Professional Racquetball Tour (LPRT) is back in action this weekend with the 2017 Boston Open in Boston, Massachusetts. LPRT #1 Paola Longoria, fresh off her 8th US Open victory earlier this month, will be there, as will LPRT #2 Frédérique Lambert, who a US Open finalist for the first time in her career this month.

Both Longoria and Lambert are playing doubles as well. Longoria has teamed up with left hander Alexandra Herrera, so she’ll likely make a rare appearance playing the right side. They are the #1 seeds. Lambert and Jessica Parrilla are #2 seeds.

Two interesting matches in the Round of 32 could be young American Sheryl Lotts versus American veteran Cheryl Gudinas, and veteran left hander Susana Acosta against Maria Paz Muñoz. The winner of Lotts and Gudinas will face 3rd seed Jessica Parrilla with the Acosta-Muñoz winner to play 7th seed Natalia Mendez.
