No upsets in the first round of the World Racquetball Tour (WRT) Casino Racquetball Open in Mexicali, Mexico. In fact, only one match even went to a tie-breaker. But surprisingly it was Alejandro Landa who needed three games to get past 26th seed German Gracia Dominguez, 15-11, 13-15, 11-0. Surprising, because Landa has won several WRT events, and was a semi-finalist at last week’s US Open, so not who we would have picked to be needing a breaker to win his first round match. [Read More]
